Limited Warranty

At Vitta Auto Glass, your safety and satisfaction are our highest priorities. We stand behind our workmanship and materials, which is why we provide a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all glass installations performed at our shop or on-site (mobile service) in Virginia.


What is Covered

This warranty protects you against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as you own your vehicle, provided the original repair or replacement was performed by Vitta Auto Glass. Covered items include: 


  • Leaks (water intrusion) or wind noise resulting from improper sealing
  • Failure of the glass attachment (glass becoming loose or detaching) 
  • Improper fit or gapping between the glass and the vehicle frame 
  • Auto glass parts installed by us that fail under normal use (excluding damage from impact or external forces) 
  • If applicable, recalibration issues for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) directly resulting from our glass replacement/correction


What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:


  • New damage caused by road debris, collisions, vandalism, hail, or other external forces 
  • Glass breakage due to misuse, abuse, extreme temperature stress, or prior existing damage 
  • Chips, cracks, or spread of pre-existing damage that were present at the time of service 
  • Side, rear, or sunroof glass damage unrelated to our original installation 
  • Repairs or modifications performed by others after our original work (unless approved in writing by us) 
  • Cosmetic blemishes or marks that do not affect structural integrity 
  • Vehicles in which the glass seal area has rust, corrosion, or structural damage that was not disclosed before installation 
  • Any claim arising because the vehicle’s manufacturer required procedural steps or parts not completed by Vitta Auto Glass (unless we were contracted to do them) 
  • Vehicles that are used in competition, off-road, or for rental/leasing, unless specifically agreed in writing


How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe you have a valid warranty claim, please follow these steps: 


  1. Contact us at (703) 898-1024 or info@vittaautoglass.com and give us your original invoice number, vehicle make/model/year, date of service, and description of the issue. 
  2. Present the original invoice or job order as proof of qualifying service. 
  3. Schedule an inspection with us. We may ask you to bring the vehicle to our shop (or arrange a mobile inspection) so our technician can assess the defect. 
  4. We will evaluate whether the defect is covered under the terms of this warranty. If it is, we will arrange to repair or replace the glass or redo the installation at no additional charge. 
  5. If, during inspection, it is determined that the issue arose from excluded conditions (see “What is not covered”), we will provide you with a repair quote. 


Important Conditions

  • Scope of warranty: This warranty applies only to the original vehicle and the original owner (or subsequent owner if transferred in writing via Vitta Auto Glass). It is not automatically transferable unless we approve it and document the transfer. 
  • Service interval: This warranty begins on the date the service was performed and remains valid for the life of the original vehicle, under normal use and ownership conditions. 
  • Mobile installations: If the service was performed off-site (mobile service), the same warranty applies. However, you must follow any post-service instructions we provided (such as minimum driving wait time, avoiding car washes or excessive vibration) to maintain warranty eligibility. 
  • Post-service care: To maintain your warranty eligibility, you should follow basic care guidelines. For example, avoid cleaning the glass or adjacent body panel vigorously for the first 24 hours, avoid high-pressure car washes for 48 hours (unless permitted), and inspect for leaks or wind noise within 30 days of service. 
  • Proof: Keep your invoice and any related documentation as proof of the original service. Without it, we may not be able to validate your claim. 
  • Limitation of liability: Except as expressly provided herein, Vitta Auto Glass makes no other warranties (express or implied), including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will Vitta Auto Glass be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from glass breakage, vehicle damage, loss of use, or other related costs. 
  • Modifications and updates: Vitta Auto Glass reserves the right to modify or discontinue this warranty at any time. Any service performed after such modification will be subject to the revised warranty terms. However, for services already performed prior to modification, the original warranty in effect at the time of service will apply.
